Jake Barnes and his two kids, Sean and Jessie, have moved to Alaska after his wife died. Naturally there is a great deal of family angst as the kids aren't happy with Dad. Jake is a former airline pilot now delivering supplies across the mountains. During an emergency delivery in a storm his plane goes down. Annoyed that the authorities aren't doing enough to save their dad, his two kids decide to rescue their father along with a cute and cuddly, warm and fuzzy polar bear cub which they have saved from a ferocious poacher. Conflict ensues, and poor Sgt. Grazer gets involved.
