Tony's Stage Career
As you can see, Tony's not "just" a TV Actor. Some of these links may lead you to a page where you will have to scroll down a little bit to find the information on the play. Sorry, but I can't hyperlink to something that isn't anchored.
Selmak suggests that you browse through the following sites at your leisure.
The Antaeus Company is an outgrowth of the Antaeus Project, a pilot study group founded in 1990 and funded by the Mark Taper Forum, to explore the challenges of establishing and maintaining a classical ensemble in a town rich with actors but dominated by the film and television industry. Mr. Amendola is involved with this and is in fact one of the original members of this company.
From what Sel can discover, Mr. Amendola attended the Southern Connecticut State University and also has a MFA from Temple University.
He discusses theater here.
Here's an incomplete listing of plays that he's done. There are a few articles on various plays hyperlinked.

Hamlet January-February 2004
Hamlet. What a play that must have been with Armin Shimerman or Tony portraying King Claudius. Sel has to admit that she saw Armin at a convention many, many, many years ago and he managed to impress the 3,000 + year old symbiote as she found him quite charming & extremely articulate.
